President and Chief Executive Officer
John Gobron’s expertise stems from 19 years of experience leading HCIT organizations in healthcare in the US and in Europe. John joined Aventura from Symantec, where he led the company’s Americas Healthcare Vertical. Prior to that, John led Microsoft’s Health Solutions business in England. Before that, he was the EMEA General Manager at Sentillion, a healthcare-specific identity and access management company. During his nine years at Sentillion, he held various sales and executive roles including leading the company’s expansion into Europe and helping to manage its acquisition by Microsoft in 2009. John also served as CEO of USTeleHealth, a leading telephone nurse triage services company, and led the company from startup to successful acquisition.
Vice President, Marketing
Jennifer Haas has over 18 years of experience building dynamic marketing programs for Fortune 500 and venture-backed companies. Jennifer joined Aventura from Microsoft where she most recently managed corporate communications for its basic research division, Microsoft Research. In this position, she was responsible for distilling complex computer science research pertaining to artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, quantum computing, and the social sciences into marketing campaigns that supported Microsoft’s global storytelling efforts. Prior to that, she managed all aspects of marketing for the Microsoft Health Solution Group’s portfolio of identity and access management products, after its acquisition of Sentillion in 2010. At the time of the acquisition, Jennifer was the director of marketing at Sentillion and led all aspects of corporate marketing, including brand development, analyst and public relations, events and creative services.
Vice President, Development
Sean Kennedy brings more than 18 years of broad experience in the design, development and distribution of software. Having started his career on the development side of the house and quickly morphing into R&D roles, Sean has a strong technical background with a passion for new technologies that can drive products and profits forward.
Sean’s passion lies in building things. He has expansive cross industry knowledge in healthcare, pharmaceutical, snow sports, virtualization, video game, retail and manufacturing sectors. This broad knowledge has given Sean the opportunity to pull best practices of design, development and distribution from many different perspectives. Prior to joining Aventura, Sean came off a long stint of entrepreneurial adventure. He was CEO of a SAAS based Internet EDI company and before that CEO of a video game development studio.
Vice President, Customer Experience
Bonny Roberts began her career in healthcare IT at Yale New Haven Health System seventeen years ago. After Yale New Haven she was a product manager for an e-commerce company that was acquired and became the “bricks and mortar” headquarters for the Global Healthcare Exchange, a disruptive healthcare supply chain model that has achieved over $10 billion in procurement savings since its inception in 2000. Following four years as a product manager with GHX, Bonny returned to her graduate school alma mater, The Ohio State University (Medical Center,) where she facilitated clinician-driven IT project prioritization, supported custom application development and was a key team member to the selection and implementation of Epic Systems. In 2010, Bonny joined Aventura where she has driven implementations, account management and sales operations. If push comes to shove, Bonny would root for the Duke Blue Devils over the The Ohio State University Buckeyes but will always call Ohio, “Home.”
Vice President, Business Development
Joy is an experienced business executive who has spent more than a decade successfully managing organizations and teams focused primarily on strategic sales and business development initiatives. She comes to Aventura from PatientKeeper (an HCA company), a leader in physician workflow and clinical data integration solutions, where she was the VP of Clinical Solutions. Prior to that, she headed the Strategy and Business Development efforts at Anthelio Health Solutions, the largest independent provider of IT and BPO services to healthcare providers.
Joy began her career as a consultant with Keane, Inc. where she was fortunate enough to live and work at their global offices in India and where her passion was ignited for the IT/BPO industry. She received her Bachelors of Science in Finance from Florida State University.
